It is never too late to turn a full circle back and pick up what was dropped many years ago. Or at least that was my experience upon returning to social psychology, Jungian studies, and philosophy. Somewhat older and more experienced, I was finally able to see education as something more than just a box-ticking exercise on a career path. I take it as slowly as possible, enjoying the time to learn deep and broad and follow my intuition. My main research interests are at the intersections of the named disciplines and art and craft. What fascinates me is how new things come into existence, how they develop, how they change us as individuals, as a collective, and how we change each other. What happens when you are pushing the boundary of what is, and where is the boundary anyway?

My PhD research project is engaging with the Jungian psychology of individuation and creativity, and with G. Simondon’s philosophy, which I explore through the lens of social psychology of creativity. I’m always happy to chat with anyone interested in similar topics!

I also make jewellery and teach jewellery-making workshops, which you can follow on my other website, soovajewellery.com.
